Assignment 1 - Clean Water in Sydney
In this course the students study a range of topics to do with Global Environments including:
- Investigating and Managing Tropical Forests in which the students study the spatial distinctions of different types of forests particularly rainforests, plants and animals; deforestation, and human influences
- Identifying and gathering geographic information including spatial distribution of deserts, climate, landforms, plants and animals; desertification, and human activities
- Managing Global Environments is also studied, in particular the human impact on the global environment, maintaining environment policies in relation to genetic diversity and biodiversity, and the management of waste
- Global Citizenship is the final topic with a study conducted towards understanding citizenship, global linkages and the actions of individuals and groups
