- Identifies in some detail the purpose of a historical investigation and plans and conducts useful research, in groups and with some independence

7-8

(Band 5)

- Locates, selects, organises and uses relevant historical information from a variety of sources, including ICT, to undertake historical inquiry in groups and as individuals with some guidance
- Identifies the purpose of a historical investigation and plans and conducts research in groups and as individuals with some guidance

5-6

(Band 4)

- Locates, selects, organises and uses some relevant historical information from a limited variety of sources, including ICT, to undertake historical inquiry as an individual with detailed guidance and direction
