TASK

Your task is very straight forward. You are to work in a group to research selected political parties and prepare a pamphlet on them for presentation to the senior students.

Using ICT, research the information for, and prepare a pamphlet outlining, the main policies of ONE major party and THREE minor parties separately. You will be allocated one group from the list below. You must research only these parties. Note that there are more than four parties in each group. The first mentioned party is the major party. You must provide the greatest amount of information on this party. The others are the minor parties. You may choose three of the four or five parties provided.

Special Note: These parties have been grouped together by a simple, random selection. There is no suggestion of any connection between any of the parties nor is there any intent to suggest that they have anything in common. The groups have been created from the list provided by the Australian Electoral Commission List of Political Parties as at 1 December 2003.

Submit the pamphlet to your teacher for marking as though it was going to be published and distributed amongst senior students.
