2. Using the table from question 1, create an appropriate graph to show this information. The graph must be clearly titled and labelled appropriately. 5 marks

3. Using Excel, calculate the average number of employees for the 14 largest TNCs.1 mark

4. Using Excel, calculate the range of employees between the largest and the smallest corporation. 1 mark

SECTION 2: GLOBALISATION AND ITS AFFECT ON THE WORLD

5. What is the definition of globalisation? Give one (1) example. 2 marks

6. How does globalisation affect developing countries in the Asia Pacific region?

In your answer, discuss five (5) different impacts. These can be either positive and / or negative impacts. 10 marks

7. List four (4) areas in which TNCs demonstrate good global citizenship in their interaction with the world. 4 marks

8. Discuss the following statement:

“Transnational corporations are a vital part of the global economy”.

In your discussion, make reference to your own knowledge, the notes given in class and the statistics in table 1. 10 marks
