The course continues by studying the Establishment of a Business wherein the students investigate what needs to be considered when establishing a business such as location, market research, capital and the entrepreneurial skills required.
The next unit of work covers Developing a Business Plan - the document which drives the creation and maintenance of a business but which must remain flexible enough to respond to changing conditions in the business environment.
The course ends with a study of the four Key Business Functions necessary to establish and implement to achieve business goals - marketing, employment relations, accounting and operations.
