Criterium c.1

I believe it is critical for a student's progress to receive regular, accurate and appropriate feedback on their learning. I incorporate assessment for learning techniques in all lessons using positive feedback in the form of both verbal and written encouragement, support and guidance. I provide assessment of their learning during class activities and as a result of the submission of assessment tasks, tests and examinations.

Various forms of formal feedback can be accessed through these links. The first is a marking guide and marker's response form for a Year 9 Australian History Empathy task on Gallipoli. The second is a marking guideline and response form attached to a Year 12 Oral Presentation already placed onto the HSIE Website. Both tasks are outcomes based as required by the Board of Studies but presented in two different ways to take into account the different levels of the students.
