HOMEWORK - REVISION - STUDY

HOMEWORK - the day to day completion of work set by your teacher, or not completed in class. It may be work set to be done at home, in the library at school or at a public library.

REVISION - work done by you to reinforce work done in class so that it is re-doing work already completed. It involves a number of specific steps:

• 5 minutes per subject per day
• re-reading your work
• making notes
• making up questions
• getting someone to ask you the questions
• fixing up errors or omission on work already returned
• sticking loose pages/sheets in notebooks
• preparing notebooks for the next lesson (eg margins)
